It is a pleasure for Mani Mandir Sewa Nyas Samiti to commence an Institute of Optometry at our Ayodhya Eye Hospital campus at Ayodhya from the current session of 2012- 13.
In recent years there has been significant development in advance in eye care. There advance have vastly improves the diagnosis, treatment & surgery. With progress of time trained personal has become one of the most significant elements in achieving this goal. The effective practice in
eye care is a team effort which in includes the talent of ophthalmologist, Optometrist, Ophthalmic technicians, Orthoptists, counselors, medical record technicians, maintenance Technicians & others.
VISION & MISSION
The Right to sight is a global programme which calls for the elimination of avoidable blindness by the year 2020 – have galvanized the support for those working to improve the quality of eye care at the grassroots level around the world. Considering the problem of lack of trained personal, Ayodhya Eye Hospital has been involved in the training of Optomertrists. The Hospital is recongnized by State Medical Faculty & Govt. of U.P. for the traning of D. R. opt. Diploma in Optometry & B.Optom (4 Year) course affiliated by ABVMU Medical University. A course for optometry would help in providing quality eye care.
